LGA-ORD is a route I only follow passingly, but I was recently surprised to see how much regional equipment UA has on the route. Maybe UA left some more room for DL? I much prefer United over Delta but am not a fan of the regional equipment either. I'm a Delta FF and I've had a recent uptick in ORD...

Engines are only interesting from a maintenance perspective. For a pilot it just goes forward when you open the throttle no matter the type. That’s not really true. The C terminal was designed for easy conversion. United has a lease for more than 10 more years so the whole point is mute. Cleveland does not have a gate shortage.
