Good report, but sadly my friend has just returned form BKK to NCL with LX and had a terrible time with 3 of his 6 flights cancelled !! with a delay of 38 hours on his outward trip? glad you enjoyed itJump to post
Blimey, you have way more manors than I would have had at that point!!
I'm glad everything worked out & look forward to the rest of the trip reports

I believe there are a few that have been delivered with old J due to the issues with Zodiac. The Caribbean fleet is also with the older business product.

Hi, You can have this information on french Wikipedia article about Air France fleet : https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flotte_d%27Air_France#Boeing_777_.2868.2B2_cargos.29 That is brilliant but sadly I do not understand french I am looking at tickets to Bangkok next year on AF166 but I am unable to f...Jump to post
I have had very little interest in visiting the USA, the behaviour of the various components Homeland security, the grief to enter the country your airlines and now a ban on everything seems to add to the desire to NEVER visit
I think I will just stick to the rest of the world
I live & work in the UK, this story has been all over the main news (all stations) today. I am staggered that ANYONE can find a reason to support United on this I am lucky I do not have to travel on USA airlines but have travelled on airlines from many other parts of the world & have never s...Jump to post
A wonderful & well written TR which would have taken a fairly long time to compose.
Thank you for taking the time to keep us entertained
Well done, great report on a very interesting country & the many airlines
Some great looking food, Air Asia I found was a solid product for the price (I wish I had ordered food)
Thanks for taking the time to post a TR
A very interesting trip report
Thanks for taking the time
Very good report thank youJump to post
A very good report sir, but like you I am surprised that their flagship lounge offered such poor quality!
Thanks for taking the time to post
Very good TR, but one that did not mirror my flight with MH just two years ago!
I was lucky to have two of the best flights ever in J on the A380 with great crews super food & lovely beds, it is sad to see them go downhill so quickly ?
Great report Cricket, I have never been happy with BA's offering in J, believing as I do they try to put too many seats in the plane! I also hate (with a passion) the idea that you pay upwards of £2,500 for a seat then you are asked for MORE money to choose your seat when booking!! I do think the lo...Jump to post
Very good report, on an Airline that many of us may not use in the future. I have a small amount of sympathy with the Airline which is 1/3rd of the price of it's rivals, & while lounge access is nice, for me the seat is the main part of my travel & I would happily give up a lounge of meal fo...Jump to post
ThomasCook, It may well have been "Worlds Favourite Airline" but it has NEVER been mine, I will go to silly lengths to avoid BA, unless someone is paying for me to travel in J with access to the lounge witch is the only part worth having. Within a month the fares will be at the same price ...Jump to post
She is a local girl & it was reported that she started flying when just 13?
Good luck to the girl, it may well be more fun than working in a call centre
Great set of reports, the right amount of detail thanks for posting
First class report, very well done as it was your first
Thank you for taking the time to post
That is the reason I never order diabetic/gluten free food & take a chance on the normal fare
I think Haneda is one of the best airports I use much nicer than Narita
Thanks for taking the time to make a report
Great report so far, i have also been on Oman air J & was very impressed.
Sadly they out up the prices since then but should they come down to what I can afford I would be more than happy to go back with them
Good report, Thank you for taking the time & the trouble to post. I have just recently completed a r/tn from AMS - BKK in J with the old style seats & i am looking forward to the new seats I thought the on-board catering was very good, I like you thought the "flagship" lounge offer...Jump to post

Hi Tesla, I always find it strange that having a poor beer selection, is more important than charging $128 to select your seat?? I dislike BA for a number of reasons, one of the main ones is charging for a seat selection be it in Y or J after paying a norma...Jump to post
Great report TopKnife, well thought out & well presented (unlike some of the food)
I have never understood the need for "angle beds" in J when almost all of the other carriers have had flat beds for a number of years?
Thanks for taking the time
Great report, nice to see Ryan air getting some good remarks for a change
Glad you enjoyed it
Another great report, very sad to see them decline !
I trust you will still enjoy your travels
I'm not sure about the A330 but the LHR - KL leg on the A380 was superb last year, in fact one of the best flights I have ever had. My worst in-flight meal by a very long way was with JAL from Tokyo to Paris It was a night flight, we were given a couple of "green - tea" buns after take off then lights out Before landing we were given a pea soup (with a dumpling) there was no choice <img src="http://cdn-www.airliners.net/avi...Jump to post
Great report, I love the writing style
Another great report Sam
Very well done
Looking forward to the next one
As I live in the UK & never fly to USA I have never used a major airline that does NOT give out "free drinks"
The cost is of course, included in the price of the ticket but should one move in that direction I feel they would need to price their tickets accordingly
