Kieron was one of the nicest guys I ever met online. We had planned so many times to meet at one of the UK meets. Always postponed it for later. Goes to show that one should not always postpone such things. At some point, there may be no 'later'... <img src="http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviati...

I will admit, the name did not ring a bell at first. But looking at his photos, many of them do, indeed.
My condolences to his family and friends.
Using a tablet for reviewing photos is not much different from reviewing them on a laptop - only that many laptops may have even better displays than most tablets. Of course, you get a better impression from the tablet than from the camera screen. But it's still not reliable, and many pictures will ...

Jump to postThe pub is easy to reach from the terminals, just 10 minutes by foot down the perimeter road. Jump to postThis is sad news, indeed. I always enjoyed his posts. Did not always agree with them, but they always provided interesting points of view.
Requiescat in pace, Dr. Cook!
I regularly fail at keeping the horizon level. During editing, I sometimes need to apply rotation of 3° or more. This has led to problems with a couple of shots, where I did not leave enough dead space to be cropped away.
