BA won't cut 12,000 staff. This is a "don't let a good crisis go to waste" moment - a final opportunity to push through getting rid of Eurofleet and Worldwide cabin crew who are paid more than most of the FOs on the A320 (even some longhaul DEP FOs too!) and possibly outsource ground hand...

How do people expect them to be getting rid of their most expensive staff when layoffs start at the bottom of the seniority list? They would have to off the senior people a buyout/really good severance package for them to leave? Or are union contracts Europe very different then they are in Canada? ...

The EK crew rest I believe will have moved from the main deck at the rear IIRC to the under main deck floor crew rest area.

One seat is lost in the cabin for a escape hatch from the crew rest area into the cabin.

BA are intending on sending a 3 class 777 to NAS from the 1st of July 2016 instead of the current 767.
