Re: United CEO Munoz stepping down; Kirby appointed

My only question: will Kirby be making cameo appearances in the safety videos? Enjoyed seeing Oscar in them. Have to like a CEO willing to do that (and showing a sense of humor).

New TTN Terminal Proposal

Searched and didn't find this posted yet. Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) is moving forward with planning for a much needed, new terminal building. A public meeting was held on January 23rd, 2019, at which the consulting firm presented preliminary environmental impact and new terminal characteristics a...

Re: Will e-passport gate ever happen in US?

Honestly, lately I've found the Mobile Passport app to be faster than Global Entry. Still have to get the paper stamped but the agents don't seem to ask questions (at least at airports with dedicated desks for the app) and no one uses that thing. I've gotten through JFK passport control in minutes ...

Another source indicating a 30th of September contract award for T-X. https://www.defensenews.com/newsletters/tv-next-episode/2018/09/04/t-x-decision-imminent/ With Boeing winning the MQ-25 bid it will be interesting to see which way this goes. Re: T-X Requirements Released

We are nearing mid-July. Are we going to see a contract award? As an ex-St Louisan (and Scandinavian), I’d love to see Boeing/SAAB get this (cooler looking craft than either of the competitors). The Lockheed/Korean bid looks old school F16, but with the Korean efforts by Trump it seems like it has a...

Kudos to Delta. Re: TTN NIMBYs discuss possible settlement with FAA

I wonder how the NIMBY's feel about A320 NEO. Today every F9 flight was a NEO, with only Allegiant flying 320CEOs. I've been tracking the flights, and live a few miles from the base of RWY06. Today I was able to compare the sound of takeoffs from my front yard. Usually we hear the CEOs, Gulfstreams,...

TTN to see F9 320NEO

Today's Trenton (NJ) Times has an article reporting that F9 will be removing the 319 and shifting to larger aircraft to better meet demand. Of note, TTN will soon see the 320NEO. The headline, "Frontier Airlines bringing larger planes to Trenton-Mercer Airport" is a bit misleading, fortuna...

I flew out of STL yesterday afternoon (Sunday, November 27) just before 2pm and saw some activity near the Boeing ramp.
