Iceland, Republic of Georgia, Uzbekistan are a few I've seen that are allowing visitors bypass quarantine who have been vaccinated. There are others, too. Egypt is another, I believe. I'll go out of my way, within reason, to fly anything other than a CRJ.

Instead of flying non stop MSP to AMS I flew via YUL or YYZ to fly the MD11 one last time.

I also flew AMS - MAD - LHR instead is direct so I could fly the A346 on the MAD - LHR segment.

I'm not sure who you heard the rumor from or when but Delta has already announced that it [entire B777 fleet] will be retired. It makes no sense for them to keep a very small fleet of 777L.

Not scheduled service but Sun Country Airlines flew proving flights from MSP-CDG via Halifax or Gander and also to LGW back in the early 2000's. Originally was to fly ATH to TLV direct but Aegean changed that flight which would have arrived around 2:30 am on the sabbath. But sure how things would work at that time i opted to cancel the flight and booked the next best thing with SWISS

I'd say it will be months, some earlier, others later. I can only speak for SJO, but given the situation in neighbouring Nicaragua (where nothing is being done against COVID-19), it is possible that even when the borders reopen (be it on April 30, or later), that there may be some local restriction...

Not sure if this has been posted but on October 22md MSP-ICN switches from a Boeing 777 to an Airbus 350. Is this a permanent change and is this a yet to be delivered 350? It was seasonal for many years but last winter they went to year round with the introduction of the 737MAX aircraft. Now that they are grounded, I suspect that is the reason behind the return to 'seasonal' service.

Some Airlines only give them out on demand. Delta, at least on international flights, goes around with their baskets of face masks and headphones. I always decline the headphones because mine works just fine.
