RE: Fragrant Harbour/Hongcouver/Jet City - SQ/AC Pt 1

In regard to the IFE, I think it varies from Fin to Fin. I think with the newer Fin such as Fin 740, you will probably find more stable IFE software as it has less computer bugs. Air Canada doesn't really have a base in <acronym title="CURRENT: Hong Kong - Chek Lap Kok International (HKG / VHHH), Ch...

Actually, the dynasty flyer program for China Airlines has been partnered with Delta Airlinese for a while, so i guess it's not surprising for Delta to codeshare with China Airlines.

I recently flown on China Airlines between Vancouver and Taipei. I got to say, CI has one of the better looking flight attendants in asia. As for their services in Y, it is nothing compared to cathay, but nonetheless, they are fairly polite and will...

I would love to see Taipei's CKS's international airport get a face lift, especially for its terminal 1. I think CKS will be benefited by adding more eating places and shops.

I think Delta even had flight from LAX to YVR. I can still recalled in 1994/95, i flew from HKG to LAX on Delta MD 11 and LAX to YVR on Delta 727. I just hope they can bring back the Delta flight between HKG and LAX.

well, i think the reason behind this is there are already 14x weekly between vancouver to hong Kong. So most passengers can just fly to HK first, then transfer to TPE.

Hi, actually on my recent cathay pacific flight from YVR to HKG. I noticed some flight attendants were giving out disney goodies bags for children passengers. So i think it's just a matter of time when CX paints their aircrafts with disney theme.

Sorry, i think i might have made a mistake about the plane type. Anyways, it was 6 years ago. So i don't remember a whole lot back then. But i am pretty sure, it was a Delta's plane.

Hi!

I flew on this route (HKG>LAX>HKG) six years ago. It was on a DC-10. On the route (HKG>LAX), it was non-stop. But on the route (LAX>HKG), the DC-10 had to stop in Taipei for refueling.

RE: CO 777 Or UA 747?

You should definitely go for Continental Airlines. They use 777 to operate this route-which means you get PTV and larger seat(more comfortable). You do know that, it takes more than 14 hours to Hong Kong. So why make yourself so uncomfortable in a tiny crummy seat.

I know many years ago, Delta used to fly to Hong Kong from Los Angeles. But somehow Delta discontinued the service. So i was wondering, would Delta ever fly back to Hong Kong. If so, what type of aircraft would they fly?
