Re: San Diego Thread - 2018

Starting January 29, 2019, all Alaska Airlines flights will operate out of Terminal 2 East On that date, you will find our ticket counters, kiosks, gates, curbside check-in, and baggage office in their new locations in Terminal 2 East. That's sooner than I expected! I'm flying AS out of SAN on Jan ...

I found something interesting regarding DL between SAN and SEA -- they will be all 738s on the route beginning on or about Nov 4! I found this on Wikipedia and checked it out on DL's website and it appears to be correct -- four daily flights now, all mainline. Oddly enough AS is now the only cx in ...

Re: San Diego Thread - 2018

The current FIS facilities are located in T2E, using gates 20, 21 & 22 and a big chunk of terminal space on 2 levels. On July 1, FIS is moving to T2W. Therefore, starting in July, my assumption is AS will begin remodeling T2E, including some of the vacant FIS space, along with their future gate...

There are no special tools for this. I'd wager to guess that most design agencies are using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to generate the design, and Maya/3D Studio Max/etc. for final renderings and animations. That's the way I do it anyway, and I haven't found a better solution (and I've been in ...
