The F-14 of the time was an analog plane. And I specifically remember at the time that Hughes said that the weapons Iran had would fail to work after a certain amount of time without a Hughes employee doing the service on them.

DL159 flew right through the middle of NK. Care to provide a reference for that? To the best of my knowledge, DL159 DTW-ICN never flies over NK nor do any of it's other flights. They fly through China then on the very west side of NK into ICN. Yeah, watch it tomorrow on FL24. It followed Air Canada...

I have planes fly over all day long faster than 250 knots and way lower than fl100. I Just right now looked and Info DUS there is a 321 at 4000 280kts. And there is a Condor 767 7000 354kts.
