Theres actually a decent number of Delta planes going nowhere and in the short term storage configuration (both 321s and 220s) at the BFM FAL. Looks like Delta not taking them right now

Not LAS related, but we are getting the 772s here at BFM back into service for AA. A lot will be used for cargo hauling, while others have gone or will be going to Roswell

Its funny to me that AA a few years ago with so many old MDs and fleet diversity went from the most old inefficient fleet batch to now the most efficient fleet in america. it only took a virus/Merger and lots of debt. Are you supposed to taxi that close to the runway (or taxiway in this case) lights? Looks like somebody swung the plane a little too far out onto a margin of the taxiway while getting into position. It was towed people... :roll: just like i towed the AA777s into position right at the edge of rwy 36...

Don't see FedEx buying an A350. Their intent several years ago was to have an all Boeing fleet....757, 767 and 777. Once the A300s, 10s and 11's are gone in a few years, they'll be golden. But like the weather, that changes.

We had one here at BFM for years in the later 90s, minus one engine. Was a freighter. We eventually installed the engine, made sure they all still started up, then they came and got it and flew it away. Kinda spooky after all those years of sitting here

They said it was activated during the loading of inflight meals; sounds like the catering employees did open a door that didn't have its slide de-activated Door/slide is supposed to disarm when the outside handle is opened. We converted the 757s for FedEx here in Mobile. I was actually part of that. FedEx wanted 119 aircraft, that's what they got. There are no plans to add anymore to their fleet. The FAL hangar is moving along pretty well here in Mobile. Appears as though its going to mirror the Airbus FAL hangar. I would post a pic of it but its been made so idiotic to just upload a picture here now that one would have to have a computer degree to do it.

This frame was a bit under-powered compared to other Boeing 777-200(ER) frames. This one had GE90-90B engines, while the other 3 that AM had leased had GE90-94B engines. The market for such under-powered frames (below 92,000 pounds of thrust) is very thin, save for former Singapore Airlines derated...
