Re: Next wave of TATL per Boyd Group

Hamilton (Cincinnati) and all their surrounding are trending downwards. No, that's not correct at all actually. I just reexamined my source (State of Ohio Development Services Agency) and I was somewhat off, however not by much. Franklin (Columbus) and all surrounding counties are up (Delaware, Fai...

Re: Next wave of TATL per Boyd Group

Regarding the missing Cleveland prediction by Boyd, note that these are just his guesses. He has Columbus, Ohio on the list. But comparing CLE to CMH, Cleveland is a much larger market, both in population AND size of the economy; plus looking at the last few years, CLE GDP is growing faster than Co...

Interesting...I'm flying CMH to SFO in July on UA and the equipment is a 737-900. WOW...that's a helluva upgrade from A320. I'm wondering if this is an indication of better than expected occupancy, or just random equipment assignment.

Re: The Rest of Ohio - 2019

F9 has been a hands-down failure in CMH. They have zero customer service, their product sucks, and they barely get service to a destination going before they pull the plug. They should either commit or get off the pot. NK, on the other hand, has been overall pretty good...and I always see large crow...

Re: The Rest of Ohio - 2019

I think CMH is getting to the point where it's pretty well served, considering the successes of 2018 additions. So in 2019, I'd be very happy seeing appropriate upgauging (specifically UA). Some mainline to NYC would be nice as well as a seasonal to SAN. Hoping that's both not too much to ask and r...

Columbus is doing everything possible to make the area more of a tourist destination. Re: The rest of Ohio - 2018

With the increase of double gates through a single door, the possibilities of expansion at CMH are fairly open. A6/7 through A6 - WN already parks two planes at this spot, so it only makes sense that they double this up. Besides, this could also free up A1 for another carrier - just a thought B29/30...
