I think the cuts to the Atlanta flight schedule are just temporary and primarily related to the MAX7 not being delivered this year. I can guarantee you that when that Aircraft is eventually delivered to Southwest that they will quickly grow the fleet and the number of departures out of Atlanta again...

Id love to be a fly on the wall in Dallas HQ right now They’re more concerned with getting the Pilot’s contract finished up at this point. The Flight Attendants are probably going to be waiting awhile before negotiations pick back up again. The NMB may decide to put 556 on ice after this rejection.

It still blows my mind that they didn’t put any MAX 9’s or 10’s on this order. Perhaps there’s language in the agreement that allows for possible type conversions.
