I was just doing some dummy bookings for S19, and I noticed something odd with the B757s.
ASL only has 4 B757s and is one of these routes going to go to a A330 or A321LR. Or did they pick up another B757.
Some more PHL announcesments today. Frontier adds PHL-ATL/RDU/LAS/MYR/PNS

What I could see happening for PHL AA: adds KEF, TLV, WAW, or MXP, and adds more southern and Midwest destinations. Adds more B787 service to existing B767 routes. F9: just adds some new routes, hope they expand past DEN. DL: adds SEA AS: adds seasonal SAN DY: adds LGW on A321neoLR LH: announces MU...Jump to post

Now knowing that they want to expand to newer markets with the opening of some planes I’m really not too sure where they would go at this point, they axed some major cities already such as JFK, MIA, DFW and making SFO seasonal, and then trying mid sized markets seem to fail. Some possibilities that ...Jump to post
What’s anyone’s thought on adding any new flights to ANC, possibly a new summer seasonal flight to return to PHL or new flights to ORD or CLT. Would AA want to go up against AS and UA at ORD Think a A321neo would be fine on any of those routes though.Jump to post
AA just "connected the dots" with lots of Midwest cities this summer that previously only had service to ORD, DFW or CLT, so I don't see a ton of domestic expansion coming any time soon. However, there are some obvious holes that I think need to be filled domestically: PHL-SJC PHL-SMF PHL...Jump to post
With AA wanting to fly to more Eastern European cities, how would a flight to WAW, VIE, IST, OTP or DME from PHL sound. Personally I could see WAW and DME being the most realistic. Also is there any word on possible South American expansions from any of the hubs? Seems like it’s been quiet down there.Jump to post
Personal opinion on how I can see some things happen. On BA Add CLT (7x B772) Have PHX go from 10x to 7x B744 Have PHL go from 10x to 14x on B744 and B789 On AA Add CLT-MAN (7x A332) Add PHX-LHR (7x A332) Add PHL-KEF (7x B752) Add PHL-MXP (7x 763) Add ORD-PRG (7x B788) Add DFW-BCN (7x B788) I know t...Jump to post

Love seeing the additions to PHL, nice to start seeing some holes being filled.Jump to post
QR will still get plenty of connections from AA at PHL. AA hasn’t suspended their interline agreement. That means you can stil check bags through and get boarding passes issued. QR will definitely still use AA for connections at PHL,m, it’ll just cost them more. It will cost them a lot more though ...Jump to post

Posted from PHLs Twitter that Qatar will now be arriving at PHL in the afternoon rather than the morning flight for better connection opportunities.
My choices for the US would be PHL, MCO, CLT, SEA, PDX, or MIAJump to post
You do realize that US previously served PHL-VIE/MXP/OSL/ARN. I wasn't aware of that. Again...if they didn't work back then, why would they work now? You can say the same thing about PHL-ZRH/SNN. US/AA ended ZRH in 2016 and now adding it back on 2018. US ended SNN in the mid 2000s and then added it...Jump to post

After many years of speculation of EI announcing PHL service I hope this is a true, huge Irish population, I believe that it's the second or third largest Irish population in the US after BOS or NYC.Jump to post
The broader list of cancellations and suspensions is likely covered in the new DL 2018 TA thread, but wanted to confirm the specific route discussed in this thread. DL confirmed that PHL-CDG is "suspended" for S18. After a hefty increase from AA for S18, PHL has lost PHL-CDG/LHR from DL a...Jump to post

Posted on the BA 380 thread, both PHL and PHX are going to 10x weekly on BA. Not sure of timing/seasonality.
An opinion piece is posted on a blog going on a tweet, some get all excited and come up wjth analysis and expert opinions on the matter. Relax, wait for the S18 schedule and then analysis can be made. Regardless of what people think of Gary, JonNYC has some very well placed sources at AA and is alm...Jump to post
From this article posted today, it seem that AA might be decreasing some JFK international flying and increasing PHL international flying during the 2018 summer season. Won't find out for sure until everything gets released. As of right now these are just rumors that are going around. What's everyon...Jump to post

Was a great crowd down at PHL for it today, and seeing the 80th anniversary livery in person sure is a beaut.
Link to one of the photos I have.
With Frontiers newest schedule extension, they re-added PHL-IAH year round service and PHL-PBI seasonal service.

I know this was already announced during the lastest OAG changes but found out more news about the change. British will now swap the B772 to a high density B744. With American still having the 2x daily A333s. This being the first regular scheduled BA B744 into PHL since 2004. More information in the...Jump to post
