I was just doing some dummy bookings for S19, and I noticed something odd with the B757s.
August 8th
PHL-DUB
MSP-DUB
BDL-DUB
BOS-SNN
JFK-SNN
ASL only has 4 B757s and is one of these routes going to go to a A330 or A321LR. Or did they pick up another B757.

Since PHL will be getting a B787 base in 2020, I wouldn’t be surprised if AA adds a third daily LHR flight possibly another evening departure or possibly bring back that morning departure we had in 2015.

What’s anyone’s thought on adding any new flights to ANC, possibly a new summer seasonal flight to return to PHL or new flights to ORD or CLT. Would AA want to go up against AS and UA at ORD Think a A321neo would be fine on any of those routes though.

AA just "connected the dots" with lots of Midwest cities this summer that previously only had service to ORD, DFW or CLT, so I don't see a ton of domestic expansion coming any time soon. However, there are some obvious holes that I think need to be filled domestically: PHL-SJC PHL-SMF PHL...

With AA wanting to fly to more Eastern European cities, how would a flight to WAW, VIE, IST, OTP or DME from PHL sound. Personally I could see WAW and DME being the most realistic. Also is there any word on possible South American expansions from any of the hubs? Seems like it’s been quiet down there.

Aer Lingus starting PHL today (Mar 25th)

Intitally 4x weekly on the B757-200 configured with 12 business class seats and 165 economy class seats. Departs Dublin at 1:50pm and arrives at Philadelphia at 4:15pm Then on May 18th the flight become a a daily flight. Hope for the best for Aer Lingus on the route.

QR will still get plenty of connections from AA at PHL. AA hasn’t suspended their interline agreement. That means you can stil check bags through and get boarding passes issued. QR will definitely still use AA for connections at PHL,m, it’ll just cost them more. It will cost them a lot more though ...

PHL is on a roll the past two months, first AA to ZRH, BUD and PRG. Then F9 to CHS, JAX, MEM, OMA, MSN. EI announces service today and now this on AA. Keep it up, hope to see more adds from AA.

You do realize that US previously served PHL-VIE/MXP/OSL/ARN. I wasn't aware of that. Again...if they didn't work back then, why would they work now? You can say the same thing about PHL-ZRH/SNN. US/AA ended ZRH in 2016 and now adding it back on 2018. US ended SNN in the mid 2000s and then added it...

With the list of cities that PHL wants, I feel that EDI, TXL, DUS, MXP, and HEL would be the most likely. Also any ideas when the new routes would be announced. When AA announced DFWs new routes I believe it was around Oct/Nov.

For the PHL routes they have been known since their latest schedule extension last month. I am surprised though that UST isn't sticking around for the winter though. But I do hope that they come back for the next spring and summer months.
