I wish DL would do retro/historic liveries. Me too. AA and UA do it. Even UA has a plane that completely spells out Continental Airlines! DL should, especially being the first of the major airlines to merge. I hope I see a NW heritage livery soon. The Bowling Shoe livery is the best IMO because the...Jump to post
RIP. A true end of an era. JFK absolutely won't be the same without them, especially with no more passenger 744s around anymore. It'll take a lot of getting used to BA's 77Ws now instead of the iconic QueenJump to post
New Delta terminal only supports up to the 757. Just wondering where did you find this info on Delta's new terminal? There's maps in the Delta LGA terminal redevelopment threads in this forum that show the gate plan and the max sized aircraft. Ohh, I see. But what if they ever need to send a 763, o...Jump to post
I remember in my times at Vaughn College when DL used to regularly send 757s to LGA from ATL, DTW or MSP and UA sending them from DEN until around 2015. UA even had an early morning flight to DEN on a 753 for a short time. Those were good days. Too bad DL only uses A321s now. With the new terminal d...Jump to post

This is so sad! I haven't had a chance to fly their A340-600 yet! I'll also miss working on them. Hopefully, if things turn out for the better, LH can still fly them after they're stored.Jump to post
Although this is sad news, I'm glad they only retired some of each type and not the whole type. I still have a chance to fly with them!
The A388 and A346 still have First Class too, so that could also be why they're holding on to them until the B779 comes.
I am specifically flying to Texas with Sun Country to experience the MD-80 in a month or two. How likely is it that if I book my DFW-ELP that my MD-80 flight is randomly changed to another airplane? I don't want to risk losing out on it. I have the same question. I just booked AA22 DFW-IAH for June...Jump to post
I'm thinking about going on Flightaware and purchasing the custom reports of the flight numbers' history of the registrations I'm looking for, for example, CO9 on Nov 4, 2000. Does anybody think this will work? Should I try?Jump to post
Oh no. Please don't tell me they're gonna use them for transcon flights like JFK-LAX and replace the 757/767's on those routes.Jump to post
There is also the following website which probably just uses an API to the BTS website and is quite easy to use... https://wandr.me/bts/ Doesn't let you do international flights. If I become a "first class member", will it actually be able to tell me the registration of any international ...Jump to post
Intriguing post, and I hope you find the reg numbers, mikedelta720. Love to know how to access ACARS to find the reg number for some of my own NW 742/744 flights, including my first one, NW45 LGW-MSP on 12 February 1989. Does ACARS go that far back? Nah it only goes back to 2006. I think there was ...Jump to post
So if I'm reading your flight numbers and dates right you flew on NW71 between DTW and MNL with a stop in NGO? Same aircraft type and flight number? But it was different planes? I would think that the same aircraft would have been used for both legs considering its the same flight number and aircra...Jump to post
Hi, a bit new to posting here. I have tried to use ACARS to find certain NW 747-400s that I flew in 2007, and I really need some help. NW71 / 18JUL2007 DTW-NGO B747-400 N670US NW71 / 19JUL2007 NGO-MNL B747-400 ? NW20 / 08AUG2007 MNL-NRT B747-400 N675NW NW20 / 08AUG2007 NRT-MSP B747-400 ? Some show o...Jump to post
How far back does ACARS go?. 2006. Bumping this instead of creating a new one. I've been trying (to no avail) to find some aircraft registrations to round out my personal log. I couldn't find them on BTS, acarsd world reports, planespotter, etc. Would appreciate some help if possible! But they're o...Jump to post
