They might not need them right now but no way they're gonna give them up. Gate space is pretty valuable in BOS and Delta has shown they're not planning on just handing BOS over to AA/B6.

The only other TATL route I see AA potentially resuming out of BOS is CDG. Huge market and with B6 feed they shouldn't have any problems filing a 787 in the summer months.

DL will bring back BOS-SFO when business travel starts to recover, its one of those routes they have to fly if they want to keep their BOS corporate customers happy, even if they lose money on it.

Some positive news out of the OAG thread, DL is resuming BOS-CDG in August 4x weekly, AMS appears to be going daily. BOS-LAS/BNA/RDU all resuming in August as well. Still no where near where they were departure wise in August last year but at least its showing some signs of life!

Yep, as I suspected, there's something else coming... see below the relative departure (from BOS) and arrival times (from Station) of the 6 announced routes by F9 to BOS. Because they only use 1 gate, things have to be linear apart from IRROPS of course. Simple math say SJU inbound - Miami Outbound...

I wouldn't be surprised if AA announces BOS-CDG soon. I'm well aware there's heavy competition from DL/AF/DY but given their recent additions this seems like a logical route to add at least seasonally.

I don't think its SAS, they've tolerated pretty horrible loads on the A330 for a few years now, something is keeping them in BOS (maybe full F cabins) otherwise they would have cut it a long time ago. Now that AA is upping their game at Logan, do people think UA is 'right-sized' here? In other words, it's entirely fine if the consensus is that UA has adequate service at Logan. Looking at a June Monday, that's 6x DL, 6X B6, and 1X F9. No way can BOS-RDU sustain four carriers at those frequencies. Flew BOS-BWI on WN yesterday, a few observations about terminal B: WN gate area is very crowded, I'd hate to see what that looks like when all five of their gates are in use NK has 35A, not sure if this is temporary due to B38 being out of service or if its permanent. Did some dummy bookings on WN's site, looks like BOS-MCI runs daily til June 8 and then there's no non-stops for the rest of the month
