Did some dummy bookings on WN's site, looks like BOS-MCI runs daily til June 8 and then there's no non-stops for the rest of the month

These were legacy US routes that AA took over after the merger, US also flew BOS-BUF and BOS-PIT but AA cut those last year. I don't see PVD-MSY lasting long, they're making the same mistake F9 made by flying it in the fall instead of the spring when demand is high. PVD-LAS should do well, WN flew it for many years

Appears WW is done, anyone see FI adding a third flight or DL jumping on BOS-KEF? I know FI eliminated that third bank so that makes them less likely but seems like the kind of route DL would be interested in

They really need to build that connector between the Blue Line station and the terminal. I don't mind taking the commuter rail and subway to the airport but the fact that those shuttle busses take 20-30 minutes to get me to the terminal drives me nuts.

What about poor CLT???? Every city BUT CLT is gaining service??!! What in the heck is wrong with CLT??? Frontier, Spirit, Southwest all serve CLT with NO problems at all, despite it being a hub for AA. 7X to RDU???? Gosh, what a slap in the face for the second biggest banking city on the east coast...

Having seen the numbers, this is not all on SWA. UA has a lot to answer for.. I hadn't posted them yet due to time, but in December, UA dropped more pax than WN alone, dropped nearly 7,000 pax and over 62%. so where this positive impact is coming from is beyond me. This is a spin, but it's not a go...

Well it appears NK is jumping on BOS-RDU as well, seems like kind of a strange add for them considering the other routes they're adding from RDU are all hubs/focus cities. Curious to see how this will affect F9

F9 has loaded BOS-MCO, starts 3x weekly April 19 and then goes daily in May

Kinda surprised F9 is coming back given they serve just about every other airport in New England, I wonder if PVD-RDU will stick around. I'd imagine they'll add MCO soon, CVG, AUS, and SAT also seem like good candidates for future adds.

DL has confirmed they are starting BOS-CLE on April 1, flights just haven't been loaded yet. Might explain why UA bailed, no sense fighting DL and B6

Don't think it's been mentioned by anyone, but UA is cutting its flights to CLE as of March 7, 2019. UA has come to a point in BOS, where it's cutting flights to focus cities, doesn't look too good. For those interested, just a reminder that Frontier commenced PWM to TPA and RSW this week. They now serve DEN, RDU, MCO, TPA and RSW from PWM. New WN schedule extension for BOS:
BOS-STL increases to 5x daily
BOS-BNA increases to 4x daily
BOS-ATL reduced to 1x daily
BOS-IND reduced to 1x weekly

Sounds a lot like they're going with Deltas version of Basic Economy which really isn't that bad. Can't choose your seat and you can't change your ticket. Could have been a lot worse, especially if they went with AA or UAs version where they charge your for carry on bags.

I'd be surprised if half of Primera's proposed new routes actually commence. It seems as though they're throwing s--- at the wall hoping some of it sticks. I been thinking the same thing.
