Re: Soft image

Shooting at F4 and a shutter speed of 1/2000 is probably the culprit then. I hope so because I´ve given a quick look at some older images and are all with a minimum of F6 and a shutter speed of 1/1650 (never higher) due to the fact that the lens hasn´t the VR. It´s definitely time for a lens upgrad...

Re: Soft image

I need to give a look at the sequence but using the AF-C I think that the problem is not only for this one but for the entire sequence and the most important thing now is to find out the possible reasons because I´m sure that the focus were ok but it seems to be blurry even at my eyes on another scr...

Soft image

Hi all, I´m going to do a little more editing with this image because it seems to be soft overall but using "unsharp mask" for a second time it became, to be optimist, really horrible due to the amount of noise. Do you have some advices or "trick" to improve the overall quality a...

Pre Screening

Hi, I´ve uploaded these shot but I don´t know if the crop of the Cityhopper could be accepted because to be honest it´s a little too tight and this is the final result. The 738 seems to be pretty good maybe with some bad compression but sincerly I don´t know how to recognise it  <img src="http:...

Is It Acceptable?

I would like to start out with saying thank you for your help with my previous photographs. What´s your opinion, is this acceptable? Personally I´m afraid because of the weather condition that day and the fog which seems to add noise <a href="http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/big/ready/i1451594522....

Post Screening - Oversharpened

Hi, I got a rejection for oversharpened reason. What do you think? For sure this is not a big issue and it´s easy to deal with because could be easily solved with less sharpness (normally I use the value which can be found in the editing guide with the values 200, 2, 0) How do you find the right amo...

RE: Pre Screening - "Obstacle"

Well, finally I had a bit of free time to modify the final result applying more contrast, a new crop a little bit lower, and less sharpening and this is the final result. I have to admit that it seems better than the previous one with the <acronym title="Emirates (United Arab Emirates)">EK</acronym>...

RE: Pre Screening - "Obstacle"

Thanks for the advice!

I noticed that it´s a little low when i placed a 50% horizontal guide.
I think that with a better center without compromize the EK, a little bit moe contrast and a downgrade for the sharpening it should be ok.

Pre Screening - "Obstacle"

Hi screeners, I´d like to try to upload this image taken at <acronym title="Zurich (- Kloten) (ZRH / LSZH), Switzerland">ZRH</acronym> and I´m wondering if the EK380 in background could represent a problem such as obstacle or something else <a href="http://postimg.org/image/46yspbmzl/" target="_blan...

Pre-screening Too Dark?

Hi all, I´m wondering if this two shoots are too dark to be accepted because personally a think that they are not too bad for quality but the belly seems to be a litte bit too dark. <a href="http://postimg.org/image/ra964mr1f/" target="_blank"><img src="http://s29.postimg.org/ra964mr1f/Norwegian_737...

Pre-Screening Feedback

Hi all, I´d like to try to upload this image and I´m looking for a feedback on it. I followed the postproduction guidelines which can be found in the site to avoid problems such as grainy, noisy and a heavy postproduction. Because of the fact that is a :nef file, I saved it as .jpeg with a value of ...

Pre-Screening Opinions

Hi all, I´d like to try to upload these shots on a.net but I´m pretty sure that the images have something wrong, maybe too dark or soft or blurry due to the lens. Could be someone be so kind to give me some impressions or advice to improve the quality of these images and the others which I would try...
