Re: Alaska Airlines Network Thread 2020

ANC also has massive cargo demand AFAIK, and has seen charters from NH and JL. With AS' impeding entry into OneWorld, a 3-4 weekly service and daily during peak travel season does not seem implausible if timed correctly into the afternoon departure bank at NRT. There might be stronger headwinds acro...

Re: Official: AA moving to LHR T-5

The outer pier is divided in two, length wise, one side for arriving pax, the other for departing. Doors (or valves as they are called) have to be opened/closed to block whichever side and allow access to gates on the opposite side. It blocks movement and creates delays to departing pax (and staff)...

What replaces LH 346?

Hello! I am interested in what LH decides to put on its FRA-HKG routes during summer 2020. I am scheduled on LH 797 in J and as of today, it remains a 346, which AFAIK, are all stored indefinitely. Being on the route at least once a year, anecdotal evidence suggests high loads in F. Post Covid, the ...

I might be quite simple minded here but as OS is grounded, i presume it's LH group's decision. But at the end of the day, it is Austria's registered planes and workers. If there is to be a financial package, how could it be benefitial for them if LH keeps them shut?

I am sorry if this hasn't been covered in the coronavirus related thread. DL restructured their NRT operations a few years ago.
