2-5-2 was pretty standard up until recently. It's kinda a throwback from when L-1011s and DC-10s were popular, as both generally had the same seat config.

God, my condolences to everybody who knew her.

Workplace-related suicides are serious. Being a crew member on international routes places an incredible amount of stress on people. It wouldn't surprise me at all if that were a part of why she took her life.
