Re: PIA A320 (flight PK8303) crashes in Karachi

If the plane landed without gear and grinded down the runway before lifting off again is it not strange that this hasn't been reported/witnessed?

There would be sparks/noise e.t.c

Re: PIA A320 (flight PK8303) crashes in Karachi

The view out the window of the crash scene from a later flight shows fairly light grey smoke
I'm not an expert but surely that would imply they had minimal fuel

edit: actually I've seen other photos with thicker smoke, I take this back

Re: Reports of Ukrainian 737 Crash in Tehran,Iran

How many airlines ceased operations over Iran in the hours after the missile strike? When I read how a shoot down makes sense because the military would be so on edge about a possible attack it seems so sad that all airliners were still happy to fly Even just from the Soleimani assassination airline...

The bounced landing reminds me of FedEx Express Flight 80 at Narita airport, could distracted pilots have made similar errors to the Fedex pilots?

Re: Tourist Helicopter crashes into glacier (Video)

Why don't helicopters have seat belts? And why does this video have so few views? How can anyone seriously answer your question regarding your comment ''And why does this video have so few views?'' It wasn't half as dramatic as I expected it to be especially after a slow start and it could have bee...

Only new thing that surprised me a little from the final moments: (http://www.parismatch.com/Actu/International/Exclusive-The-final-moments-before-the-crash-736774)

..is that Lubitz put on an Oxygen mask?

Can't really think why he would do that, but maybe it is not something of any interest.

RE: VS43 LGW-LAS In Trouble?

This plane was meant to be flying all the way to Las Vegas though,
If the landing gear didn't retract correctly after take off is that not something they would try and troubleshoot in the next 10+ hours of flight rather than turning back immediately?

Small detail, but I assume the reports of the plane turning at it went off radar are true?

I was wondering how we know the plane turned?
If someone had planned something meticulously to not be found out, surely they make sure to disable the transponder, *then* start the turn.
