RE: Overexposed Shots

How I would setup my dslr is shoot in aperture priority mode, set Auto-ISO to 100-800 range, and minimum shutter to 1/XXX (people say put the number of your focal length here, I prefer to put twice that to guarantee sharpness). I let the camera take care of exposure, its much quicker than what I can...

Also on the DL-Skyteam, there's a hint of color fringing at the frame of the front pilot windshield/window, its obvious if you bring your attention to the nose.

Maybe its just me but I seem to notice a lot of color fringing. Now I don't know if color fringing is a cause for concern on A-Net (their critique guide didn't explicitly explain their policy on color fringing).

RE: Which Extender? 1.4 Or 2.0?

Imo using teleconverter means too much loss in image quality. If you want more reach, try the new Tamron 150-600? Go with 1.4x teleconverter if you must keep 100-400 and have autofocus.

Panasonic FZ1000, best point and shoot/bridge camera out there. "Large" 1 inch sensor and 25-400 f2.8-4 zoom range, it doesn't get better for any camera below a dslr.
