I have a simple question...
When you have AP disabled, A/T disabled, auto trim disabled and aware of your surroundings.... how hard is it to hand fly the B38M?
Also, how much difference than a likewise NG variant? eg; climbing, leveling off, landing AoA and speed etc.
Thanks
Any idea why carriers in the UK and China are still flying the B38M in/out/within their nations, despite national body groundings?
Also, I'm surprised Ethiopia Airlines is using another B38M as I speak.

We may as well move straight into fully autonomous airliners then. Give it time, it's coming. Cars and trucks are here already. Sea shipping is next. Aviation will be down the road. Blaming Boeing for bad pilot training just isn't fair. Boeing provides instructions for how the aircraft should be op...

Jump to postSo it is beginning to look like the structural failure was from the craft itself and/or from internal forces.
Whatever happened, it must of been quick and affected the cockpit, because an aft separation/decompression would still have allowed the pilots to still use the radios/transponders etc?
Looking at the scene and coupled with the fact the pilot was having radio issues etc, could an electrical fire cause a sudden loss of controls, thus putting the craft in an irrecoverable stall/pancake dive?

The only real fix is to take the locks off, imo.
I'd rather have the lock off the doors, than have them there.
At least if something nefarious is going on, regardless by crew or passenger in the cockpit, it can be mitigated by crew/passengers being able to access and address any nefarious issue.
