It does not look like T2/T3 will have FIS. The new T4 will have 4 FIS gates. T6 FIS is under construction (AS international arrivals will move back to T6 once it is open again). T7 also has FIS.

Looks like there are 17 routes not operating, that did prior to the pandemic. This must mean close to 30 widebody aircraft (mostly 777-200ER) not being used. United currently has more widebody aircraft in their fleet today than prior to the pandemic (with all 777s not active and more 787s delivered)...

Are there any plans on upgrading the 787s with the new business class? It just a bit pathetic... their new 777-300ERs have perhaps the best business class seat out there, of any airline... and yet their 787s have a business class seat that is worse than AA, UA, DL, and JL.

Good news.

Korean Air pre-covid at LAX was 2x A380 + 1x 77W(in the summer).

At their peak, they had up to 4 daily ICN-LAX flights + ICN-NRT-LAX, ICN-LAX-LAS, and ICN-LAX-GRU.

This did involve QR reducing 777-9 orders by 20. It is now down to 30, plus 10 777-8. Is the interior issue with the 787-9s solved? For a while, they had their first 7 delivered, but not operating (this was before the current 787 manufacturing delays). Are those 7 787-9s actually in passenger service?

Also, at some point, Air France did something like CDG-LAX-PPT-LAX-PPT-LAX-PPT-LAX-CDG, on a 777-200ER. However the LAX-CDG part on those middle days was a 777-300ER or A380.

The Qantas flight to JFK used to use a flight number from one of the SYD-LAX A380 flights. But the JFK flight was operated with a 787 that came from BNE.

At the time the A340-500/600 was new, it was very well liked. It seemed to have good potential. No one knew how good the 777-300ER would become. So, hindsight is a bit different.

A trade? 16 UA 767-400ERs for 10 DL 777-200LRs?

Of all the UA wide bodies, the 767-400ER is the least likely to return, as the entire fleet hasn't begun Polaris configuration.
