I am assuming a baseball charter? I believe so yes. Last year an ANA 787 was used for this. Do these baseball charters block-on to B23 or 25 to disembark the pax? And presuming they do, I also presume they're then towed to a remote stand to await the return flight? Those charters must cost the ball...

All my 747 flights were with BA on the 400 series. The first was in 2006, BA288/289 PHX-LHR-PHX, and then again in 2008. The 747 will always be one of my favorite aircraft.

Did AA send a large airplane in to PHX on Jan 1 around 6p? I saw what appeared to be a larger AA plane making the downwind turn over Camelback while I was out for my run. The only widebody of any sort to land around 6PM yesterday was the BA 747, which arrived at 5:57PM. Largest AA jets at that time...

Does anybody remember the public shower in T2? I don't recall when it went away exactly, but it was adjacent to where the men's room is now at the top of the ramp between check-in/baggage claim and the main hall/security. It was a coin-operated door, and I believe was 50¢ to access the shower room....

Allegiant operated a few MD-87s at one time. I flew on one of them in 2007 IWA-BIL. Allegiant originally started their ops at Gateway with the type, before going to the larger MD-82/83s and then Airbus.

Hopefully Allegiant, JetBlue or Alaska will put in a purchase offer. Seems like they would be up Allegiant's alley. What would any of those airlines want with a very small regional airline with only a fleet of prop planes? G4, B6, and AS are all mainline jet carriers, and that's not going to change.
