So...I've heard AA Network Planning VP say they want to grow int'l and it was mentioned in this thread but curious. What else do people think could be added? I struggle to think of adds to be honest. The Caribbean and Mexico are pretty well covered. It's a city of ~2.5 million, albeit growing fast,...Jump to post
I'm not sure if anybody else saw this, but the A380 is returning to ATL with AF starting March 31.

Well done AUS! I guess it’s safe to say that we won’t be seeing DE back in AUS next summer.
It would be awesome if AUS could gain non-stop service to Asia.
Finally a dedicated thread for CLT!
Would anyone happen to know the current status of the proposed 12000 ft parallel runway?
Also, are there any new airline suggestions for CLT? Hopefully with all of the planned expansion, we can potentially see some new tails at CLT.
I personally don't see DL launching ATL-WAW anytime in the near future. If anything, I believe that the next European route that DL would launch from ATL would be PRG or ATH, both seasonal. Heck, maybe even a relaunch of TLV service would be more likely than WAW. We'll just have to see what happens.Jump to post
With KLM and Korean on the way, I have to say that I'm very intrigued by BOS's international expansion in the last few years. With that said, here are 5 international carriers that I think could add BOS in less than 5 years. These are not listed in any particular order BTW. 1. Austrian Airlines 2. L...Jump to post
Wow! What an announcement. I'm tempted to know what LH will do in CLT now that AA is starting CLT-MUC.Jump to post
Another thing I should note is that while Concourse G may be cancelled, there is still an expansion of gates at Concourse F that is in the planning stages by the airport management. Although the airport hasn't released any layouts of the expansion just yet, it has been determined that such an expans...Jump to post
Big news regarding airport expansion. Due to high costs, the planned 1.5 billion Concourse G has been cancelled, and the airport is now looking a southern expansion of gates at Concourse T as a potentially cheaper alternative. What are the chances that Emirates adds ATL-DXB in the next 3 years or so? I know Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines already fly here, but I would just love to see the tail of an Emirates 777-200LR parked at Concourse F. EK coming to Atlanta is always a possibility but I just don't see it happening...Jump to post
Its funny that BNA has more YVR service than ATL. Wonder if that will change soon via WS or DL? Service is only on Saturdays seasonally right now, right? I never understood why DL dropped the ATL-YVR service? I used to fly it 2-3 times per year for about 5 years but that was about 10 years ago at t...Jump to post

What is the chance SWA will add ATL <--> MEM? They recently added ATL <--> BNA. Memphis has been begging someone to break Delta monopoly. The ticket cost are really expensive. Is DL replacing it? No. Delta already flies mainline ATL-MTY service, and have been doing so for a while, long before AM anncounced their service. At the moment, GDL is also flown by both AM and DL, so let’s see if AM manages to hold on to that. I know this, but DL currently flies 2 mainline daily....Jump to post

It appears that the proposed Concourse G may not be going ahead after all, and that a smaller and a potentially cheaper expansion of international gates at Concourse F is be considered as an alternative option. https://www.myajc.com/business/hartsfield-jackson-may-not-build-planned-concourse/0yQzvwe...Jump to post

What would you guys say the next airline will be that comes to St. Louis. Any ideas or rumors? If so, when could that happen? I'm guessing BA or JetBlue, but put on the spot I say BA. Yet we are still waiting for DOH-LAS to start.
