Re: Boeing tipped to launch 777X freighter at Dubai Air Show

It's so funny to see some of you quibble over literally 1 foot (229' vs 230'). Good heavens, some people just have too much time on their hands.

I can't wait until Boeing launches the freighter. No matter what the final details/specs are, I'm sure it will be a home run long-term.

DFW - Windy: Use of 31L/R Today

Very windy day here in the Metroplex. Both Takeoffs and Landings are happening on both 31L & 31R. I'm not saying it never happens, but from recollection, when in this configuration, DFW typically uses 31L for Takeoffs and 31R for Landings. I was a bit surprised to see planes taking off from 31R,...

Re: Qantas to officially issue tender on narrowbody fleet replacement in coming days

The fact that the A320 has a feeling of more width has nothing to do with fuselage shape. The A320 has a feeling of more width because…it’s wider. ~8” is noticeable. The difference between the 787 and A330 cabins are similar and the 787 is also noticeably wider. The difference in width is 5-6”. Als...

With Airbus recently out canvassing traditional Boeing freighter customers with their proposed A350F concept? I think Boeing had to move fast to head this off.
