that was a bird strike that entered the pack inlet and fouled the entire pack system so it had to be removed to be sent to the shop for cleaning. I've never seen one removed for any other reason though.. Ram Air Inlet & FCSOV Inlet are different areas, how would a bird strike in the former affe...

In Major maintenance since the inspected areas are viewed from upclose , the ideal Flashlight would be a small palm held device with less intensity.
On the other hand using a Flashlight in Line maintenance A 6-8in higher intensity device would be preffered.

Dimming the lights during T/O or Landing prepare the Pax and crew to deal with an emergency by resetting their eye to the low light, so in case of a sudden lights out emergency, there is no time wasted for the eye to adjust to the low light.

Apart from reducing fuel consumption, Winglets also add on weight.
If the flights are not cruising for too long, the fuel efficiency achieved would be less than the weight added & wont serve the purpose.
