The situation looks to be better now but not too long ago the fares between DTW and MKE were astronomical (approaching $400 for a one-way IIRC). Most aircraft have air chillers installed in the galley I was on a flight recently that was delayed because they did not have enough dry ice to keep all the food fresh.
