QR will resume HEL at the end of July, first with three weekly. Remains to be seen if they ever will get back to two daily.

I just checked both FR24 and Finavia for HEL flights. It's strange how FR24 shows more flights than the offcial airport web site.

AY continues the suspension of flights to Mainland China until 30 April 2020 and 1 of 2 daily flights to HKG is suspended until the end of April 2020. KIX will be served 10x weekly instead of 12x weekly in S20. Flights to ICN are suspended until 16 Apr 2020 while the launch of PUS has been postpone...

When did they end OUL? I think they have tried ARN-OUL at least three times over the last 10-15 years and it never lasted long. Not profitable/enough passengers. They only flew 3 or 4 weekly when both Norwegian and Finnair up to 12 daily, so they couldn't compete. EDIT: Oh, you said when, not why. ...

They went from 26.8 to 25.6 3-4 weekly with CRJ. When did they end OUL? I think they have tried ARN-OUL at least ...

Norwegian will axe HEL-VAA in January just after two months of operation. It never made sense to fly the route just twice weekly.

Yes, LH is offering very good prices via FRA and MUC and KL is nowadays a lucrative option too but you lose quite a bit of time especially when travelling on a short trip. IIRC FR tried the CRL - TMP route at some point and now that FR has presence at BRU, maybe they could try it from there again. ...

It's a bloody nightmare - I travel from Brussels to Helsinki quite a lot for work and usually have to travel with KL via AMS, LHR via FRA/MUC or SK via OSL/CPH/ARN. I can't believe that AY get away with charging so much on that route - it is often up towards €1,000 return. Isn't AY codesharing with...

Could the reason be that other airlines have tried and flown the route before, but found it unprofitable/unsustainable? HEL-BRU is a route with only so much O/D demand - it's not like HEL-LON, HEL-PAR or HEL-FCO where lower prices can stimulate significantly more demand. HEL-BRU probably is a good ...

Air Leap starts ARN-TKU. The Lentoposti article mentions ten weekly flights, but not whether it is nonstop or via MHQ, which they already serve from ARN.

Finnair seems to be ending its Chongqing service on June 26, 2020 as no direct flights are bookable from this date onwards. Sad to see this route go but I assume there are good reasons behind this. As the route is flown 4x weekly during the summer season with Airbus A330, this made me think whether...
