Re: Updated: Boeing to Consolidate 787 Production in South Carolina

Not often I agree with you but.... I can see Boeing closing their Boeing Field operations in the medium term and relocating to another Right To Work location (not necessarily Charleston). The 737 replacement will go out of the state. That just leaves Everett with two limited time programs building ...

Re: Chattanooga KCHA recent daily flights from charter cargo operators

I’ve noticed this at BHM, TCL, ANB, and ASN as of late. I’ve seen Everts Air, Aeronaves TSM, USA Jet, Kalitta II, Ameristar, Berry Aviation, you name it, quite often at these airports within the last two weeks. Lots of automobile plants in the area ( Mercedes near Tuscaloosa and Honda near Lincoln ...

Chattanooga KCHA recent daily flights from charter cargo operators

I know this may be a long shot with Chattanooga being a smaller airport, but KCHA has recently out of the blue starting receiving daily arrivals/departures from charter cargo operators. Most of the flights are from USA Jet but there have been some Everts Air flights sprinkled in. I'm wondering if an...

Re: Unticketed Pax Clears TSA, Boards DL Flight

What type of aircraft? Just curious. I was on this flight and the woman in question was seated in the row directly behind me. We were on an A321 (N372DN). I think she slipped past the gate agent while she was distracted by something else. I'm pretty sure it was during pre-boarding and she was one o...

Re: Why did Bombardier do that!?

Where does anyone get the false impression the CSeries has ever been positioned as a regional jet??? It isnt a false impression. It was launched and designed as the Bombardier Regional Jet. It was initally related to the Fokker 70/100, and was put on hold for a while in favour of the CRJ-1000, beca...

Re: Why did Bombardier do that!?

Where does anyone get the false impression the CSeries has ever been positioned as a regional jet??? It has always been advertised as a competitor at the low end of the mainline jet market, offering much better operating economics than the 737-600/700 & A318/A319. Even here in the US, where the ...

Anyone in BNA know why DAL17 MD-90 KDTW-KBNA just diverted to KCHA? Looking at FR24, it looks like it circled and/or had a missed approach at KBNA before diverting.

In regard to the music industry in Nashville, it is not just a country music town anymore. There is a lot of pop/rock recording and production going on in Nashville. Most, if not all, of the major recording labels have more than just a passing presence in the city. There is plenty enough music busi...

This may be a poorly crafted tease for a 5K run to be held in October on runway 28R. A business/travel reporter for The Columbus Dispatch I follow on Twitter knows it's going to be announced this week, but is unsure if that's the announcement or if there's a service announcement coming as well. It'...

Something to consider - even if you selected one of those airports as your origin there is no guarantee that your plane would be at the beginning of a trip and have no need to reposition.

Everyone should be proud to fight for a good quality of living for their fellow workers. why are you not proud to help others? Other than the actual numbers, everything Varsity1 said above is a lie... Is that how you help others? By making stuff up? That pay is not only 50% of what a regional pilot...
