Hi all,

Both cities are potential new routes in the AF network, as well as LAS, MSY, etc. Those routes might open in the next 2/3 years. the aircraft would be the 787.

A couple years ago, CDG-YUL was one of their first A380 routes. Is the 789 in addition to another aircraft rotation? Seems that would be a lot of capacity reduction in a once very busy route. The aircraft apparently had to auto-land at Paris CDG due to fog! In other news, Air France will now fly the Dreamliner between Paris CDG and London Heathrow from February until 28 October 2017! First destination will be Cairo, starting on jan 9th. Then Montreal will follow in april when the second B787 will be delivered to Air France.
Also flights to LHR and LYS will be operated using the B787 for pilots training.

AF will start the route with an A320. However the A320 on this route means no freight in the hold, so we'll see how it goes!
Once the flight goes daily and if the route is doing well, AF might switch to a bigger aircraft like the A330 or the B772!
