Re: Still no Asia service from CLT?

CLT has no real O&D to East Asia. That's off the table, as far as I'm concerned. (Used to live in CLT, loved it, want nothing but the best for it. Just a fact.) For a city with such a majority-domestic economy, the Germany nonstops for the European business interests in Metrolina and LHR/lesuire...

I've noticed that AA has increased CLT-YUL service. Route usually operates as 1x E175 but it appears starting in September the route changes to 2x A319. I don't think the route has ever had mainline service before. Granted, this is likely extremely up in the air because of COVID but interesting non...

Massive divestitures will be required and I doubt it will make this venture worthwhile. Plus layer job losses etc.. Southwest and others will be lining up for NYC slots. This si actually quite great. 2 cents? S7 has an opportunity to grab more domestic business travel. I'm somewhat suprised the excess domestic capacity is being shifted to Pobeda instead of Rossiya. If I understand correctly, Rossiya's whole purpose is to provide a lower level of cost and service compares to Aeroflot without being a LCC (i.e. Pobeda.).
