Very good news for Cyprus :) . Its nice to see that Cypriots now have good options for traveling abroad. The livery is very nice too ! Fresh and original, I'm looking forward to trying them :D. Do you think it will be part of OW ? This would present great connections for Cypriots to the US and the F...

Absence of Star Alliance in the Middle East ?

I discovered the other day that it is actually quite hard to rack up miles for Star Alliance while flying through the Arabian Gulf and The Middle East, with the exeption of MS (which is in a different region alltogether; North Africa). This made me think of the absence of SA in these regions. All al...

Actually, quite often, TAROM operate their 737-700 to DXB, so I do not think the new long haul aircraft would be specifically for such a route. And secondly, they operate their a318 usually to SVO, and not to VKO. Also, they are based at OTP rather than BUD.

I read some rumers speculating that a 787 was on the table. Regarding the used aircraft option, TAROM wants the aircraft to be 5 years or younger. I do not think that they would be used for long haul routes. TAROM yield high load factors on many destinations they operate and would deploy these aircr...
