My point was that payrolls preserved at Delta will be used to provide for families.

All options presented to flight attendants were clearly spelled out and awarded in seniority order. As a schedule holder you can bid to for up to 97 hours ( this number can vary +\- 5 hours or so) if you wish to fly high. You also have the ability to pick up more time or drop time via the swap board...

Wonderful news. Delta went the extra mile by offering a very generous retirement/ early out package. Paid leaves for those over 65 or 60 and over with underlying health issues, split lines, one month on one month off, temporary duty assignments in other departments, etc...Without our flexibility, so...

Today is the deadline for signing up for early out and enhanced retirement packages. Although generous, there is likely to be a defecit between those who have accepted or have chosen long term leaves versus the actual headcount reduction that's going to be needed. Bastian's comment was made after the retirement of the 777 fleet had been announced. I think something's cooked. Maybe Boeing will take the 717's and 777's off Delta's hands as part of an order. Boeing is hurting on several fronts. Not the least of which are the troubles and cancellations in the MAX...

A330-800 neo perhaps, with a good deal from Airbus to jump start sales of this model?

Can't say Delta is Boeing averse in this case They've stated repeatedly that they wanted to be the launch customer. Boeing just won't have anything to offer.

I just flew on a refurbished 777 and the Comfort+ cabin was huge.

I take it 763 mods have started. Odd they’re not on the list. When is the first scheduled for completion and is there a schedule for the remaining frames?
