Yes. I actually know one of the passengers who was on the plane, she was a family friend. She was unfortunately not one of the survivors.

EI-DVM has returned to operating flights today. I understood that she was to be the first aircraft painted in the new livery. 'CVA was ferried to SNN yesterday, have EI changed their mind or was 'DVM ever planned to be the first aircraft?

To be honest the push is to expand TATL and still will be for the next few years. Its what works and their current Euro routes feed this system. EI111 SNN-JFK was cancelled this morning as one of the Dublin 757s went tech. EI-LBR, which was supposed to fly EI111, repositioned to DUB to fly EI131. Not good for EI SNN PR

Air France's Hop is to upgauge Cork-Paris service from ERJ170 to the larger ERJ190 from 28th October. Fantastic to see them doing well on this route.

I think that a statement such as "please dont bring personal belongings with you during an emergency evacuation" should be added to the safety briefing before flights. It may not accomplish much but the thought may enter an instinctive passenger's mind during evacuation.

I personally use Skypicker, also known as Kiwi to search for flights, though I wouldn't book with them. I tend to book on airline's websites as it is generally cheaper.
