I believe most of the bases in BC went to Menzies, I know YYJ starts in late January, same with YCD and YQQ
Jump to postYYJ-YWG is interesting, don't know how well YYJ-YWG is gonna do, newleaf (now flair) has been there and done that and it didn't go very well. Although a YYJ-LAS could be a nice addition to YYJ. Hopefully YYJ is a success.

Flightradar24 is showing that the first Delta A350 is flying from BCN to ATL but currently in TLS.
Also the twitter user A350blog reported that Delta had it's first A350 delivered today.

Currently there are no direct routes from Canada to Thailand. This would be a big eye opener for YVR as they have been known to attract a lot of asian airlines and asian routes to Vancouver and North America. Air Canada could easily send a 787-8/9 or 777's. Thai Airways could resume North American s...
Jump to postStill waiting for ME3's to show up at YVR. Any word on Emirates starting YVR up because if anything it sounds more realistic then Buffalo IMO. The ME3 are each only allowed three weekly flights to Canada. EK/EY use them to Toronto and QR to Montreal. None of them can fly to Vancouver without discon...

Jump to postCX 12 B-LRL (MSN 72) has been delivered just under two weeks ago and has still not entered into service. Anybody know why? I believe I read somewhere in one of these threads that it was delivered without the J cabin installed (for whatever reason), and perhaps it isn't ready for EIS yet. Ok thanks....
Jump to postIt is not as historic or well loved as the 747-400 fleet was. According to whom exactly? It might show in the retirement phase. There hasn't been as much media coverage around it all.
