CCU/DEL remain safe bets for such launches. They can test the waters in that region from these two cities. They can even look towards the more affluent northeast asia, to places like South Korea/Taiwan/Japan on their A321Neo XLR's. There's a lot of IT traffic to Vietnam. Perhaps we could see a rout...

IndiGo still operates this route - 6E1755. Stopped wef 1 October 2019 as per SSC Hmm .. interesting. Wonder if thats temporary. Also suprising then GoAir would launch this route, and add a new int'l station for such a route. GoAir has made CNN its home. Perhaps they believe they can make this route...

This round of Pak airspace closure seems to be much less impactful than the previous one. It is only from 2AM to about 11.45AM on 6 days a week. Air India says its long haul routes will get longer by just 12 minutes.

Pakistan is just playing to the gallery showing that it is indeed doing something.
