Interesting to see that one C-class seat can be used as crew rest! Does that mean there's no other crew rest facility on the aircraft?
Jump to postEZY route from MXP to OTP will be launched on 23 April, 2020. 7x weekly Operating with A319 by the looks of the online booking system, though no seat showing occupied yet on the 10 flights I looked at. Jump to postI find it amazing that BA has become over the course of a summer an airline operating 4 aircraft types: A32x, A350, 777 and 787. Also, their new 77W configuration is amazingly premium. That being said, it's clear that the new workhorse of the fleet is the 777-200 series. This aircraft has a lot of c...
Jump to postAs per planespotters, TC-LNA & TC-LNB (ex Kingfisher), the only 18C/251Y -200s in TK's fleet are due to leave to Hi Fly.
Jump to postI would bet that it's because KQ will receive their 777s back. They have already stated they will be getting back their 787s from Oman and 777s from TK sometime this year.
Jump to postI don't know if it's been previously reported but all TK MAX aircraft have been moved to ISL. Probably they are good as gate test aircraft as any.
Jump to postDoes anybody know if TK has options for the A359/789, other than the firm orders they have placed for 25 aircraft each?
Saw that their A330 fleet consists of 55 aircraft, and currently it does not look like a 1:1 replacement plan.
Really curious to see if one position of the QR A321 cargo hold will be reserved for extra fuel tanks, just like their current A321ceo.

Jump to postExactly, taking into consideration that the flight's full of pax, how much cargo can you fit inside an A319 or 73W?
Jump to postHi there!
I need your help regarding bulk cargo capacities of Airbus&Boeing aircraft. To be more precise, I'm interested to find out how much cargo you can fit inside the A319/B73W/B73H - bulk versions, taking into consideration that there's passengers' bags as well.
Cann somebody explain how it works? Where do you check in, what is the purpose of that grey hall? If that's the terminal, whh is it remote?
Oh, and, can you board two flights at the same time?

Jump to postI'm trying to get a picture of European low-cost operations by analysing aircraft economics.
How much would a low-cost airline lose/gain by choosing to start operating an all-economy Embraer 195 or a C-Series, instead of the usual A320s and B738s?
As an European, I actually prefer Boeing's looks. Still, Airbus aircraft will forever be the most passenger-oriented ones, the most comfortable and ergonomic.
On the other side, no A350 or A380 can beat the wings or shapes of a B777 or B787.
We've had a lot of discussions about low-cost (Ryanair, Easyjet), hybrid (Air Berlin, Norwegian) and regular airlines so we all now the main differences. Regarding pure low-cost airlines however, I could not help but notice that they do whatever's in their power to pass all responsibilities to the p...
