IAH is what I would see, the UA connections would help a lot to feed that route as well. The other I could see both SEA or maybe DFW or ATL. Love seeing the LH A359 here at EWR, I also heard that we are losing our Eurowings DUS flight, which was previously LH, interesting to see if LH gets it back.Jump to post
I spot there all the time, i live in NJ. Here is the issue, with terminal 1 being bulit right now it is a huge help. The fact that all AC flights also have pre-clearance is helpful. However, the alleys are very narrow and some of the gates maybe 3-4 gates per alley can be clogged at one time. We hav...Jump to post
Some of the Airplanes, like N650DL have a special charter config for sports and other charters. Where as other wingleted 75's tend to be for PAX. Some non-winglet 757's are still for pax.Jump to post
NZ wouldn't start JFK anyway, they'd go for EWR if they were to go to NYC. Why? EWR isn't an obvious place to hub to AKL. NZ could just as well take the O&D at JFK. Lufthansa, Turkish, Air China, ANA, Asiana, Austrian, Egyptair, Avianca... all operate from JFK, as do other *A carriers. Avianca,...Jump to post
I flew YVR-EWR yesterday and we were absolutely moving after we passed Chicago, on the way out last Thursday that portion of the flight took a lot longer then im used to as well. Just an observation.Jump to post
From an EWR standpoint, we are seeing a lot of the sCO 777's being freed up now that UA has the 77W. EWR-JNB would make sense could also see EWR-CAI given the Star A affiliation with Egyptair.Jump to post
As an EWR local, does anyone know what these flights ar going to be operated with? Great for EWR hear, always love seeing more service in Newark. This could help DL TATL from EWR because they cut both EWR-LHR and EWR-CDG after last summer.Jump to post
As someone who spots at EWR a lot and flies out of there quite frequently here are my thoughts: -C has gotten much better, the airside is quite nice now especially C1 and C3, the securtiy check areas are pretty much brand new, except for the one being finished. UA just re-did most of their check-in ...Jump to post
Looks like the aircraft is P2-PXE, a 13.5 year old 737-800 operated by Air Niugini. Previously operated for Air India Express and Jet Airways as VT-AXC and VT-JBT respectively. Had been operated by Air Niugini for five years. https://www.planespotters.net/airframe/Boeing/737/P2-PXE-Air-Niugini/6MraC...Jump to post
If the forecast has Charleston getting hit hard enough by the hurricane, Boeing would most likely ferry the flyable frames to other locations throughout the country. However, if the storm does not pose a big enough threat, I do not see Boeing doing this.Jump to post
There is also a 21 year old 343 for 9 million. https://www.controller.com/listings/air ... irbus-a340Jump to post
FlyDubai Currently Offers lie-flat seating on their 7M8 aircraft. Seems as it is the same product as B6 mint, but there is already a carrier with 737 Max's with lie flat seating. Also QR offers lie-flat seating on some of their A320 aircraft but manages to keep the same amount of seats as on the non...Jump to post
Flexibility and cost. UA and DL have or have had domestic widebodies. US airlines are quite Capital conservative for domestic fleet. It is hard to justify the expense of a new widebody that may be triple the cost of a narrowbody for domestic use. They still do as does AA. UA even has "domestic...Jump to post
On twitter this morning KLM teased a new destination with a few hints:
Seems like Boston with the Marathon, Green Monster, and 1630 clue.
BR just went from 14x to 18x at SFO and then 18x to 21x at SFO a week. As much as I would like to see them at SJC, I would have expected them to do so before going 3x daily at SFO. Given they are in Star Alliance and that Air China has to pull out, I am not so sure they or anyone else will be tryin...Jump to post
As one who has flown ATL/EWR-EWR/ATL multiple times I can tell share that the flight is under or at 1h 45min. Multiple times only being 1hr 30 mins.Jump to post
SEA seems to have the most logical Answer with the AS codeshares, as well as DL pulling the HKG flight. HNL would seem right geographically, but is there demand? LAS could work, but I just don't see it happening, why go all the way to Vegas when you could just go to Macau? MIA would be a huge step f...Jump to post
Might need to show this at KE pilot training:
Surprise no one mentioned Montreal yet, Mirabel just never worked, so why still have it(other than for BBD)?YUL is a great airport with plenty of space.Jump to post
If the JFK-LHR included JFK-LGW or EWR-LHR/STN on UA/PF/BA it would have to be near 3.5 million if not above that number.Jump to post
So this bears the question, what about the current Terminal A (A2, the UAX part) at EWR, as someone who uses it fairly often, the gates are really close together and are meant for 145's, I wonder what happens when we see more 170s and 175s. Also, that place is a dump, but that's another conversation.Jump to post
Will these airplanes have the Q-suite?Jump to post
Today's (1 am departure on Dec. 2) CX899 took an easterly route as well.

As someone who uses and spots at EWR quite often this is very interesting.About a week and a half ago at EWR the winds were very strong out of the west, everything was using 29. Now during the morning rush it was complete mayhem on a 6800 ft runway. It was almost like SXM minus the beac and good wea...Jump to post

Saftey is Global three came ou today!
Here it is:
What do you think?
I was spotting at ATL this weekend at saw N301DV, Delta A321. I looked up the regestration and found out that this plane was orginally regestered N301DN, the first Delta A321. Why did the regestration change? Any insight would be helpful!
Thanks in Advance
