My money's on additional destinations on Allegiant, since G4 just opened a base there. Not sure what the new destinations would be, but probably second-tier sun cities. Nothing to get excited about, unfortunately.

The obvious disadvantage is that we're all trained to ignore automated announcements and therefore more likely to miss relevant announcements. Once you've heard "The curb is for immediate loading and unloading..." a hundred times you stop listening to automated announcements.

I fly exclusively DL and I will pay extra (within reason) or take an earlier/later flight to connect at DTW instead of MSP. DTW is modern, efficient, well-laid-out and beautiful. MSP is the ninth circle of airport hell.

I absolutely hated it when it first came out, but it's grown on me. The eagle logo device works well across all their platforms, and overall the whole thing does a good job of communicating not just American Airlines, but that it's from the United States. Easily comes in second-place for US liveries...

Note to Gogo: You're losing money because a day pass is $20 (and $28 on Delta, for some reason) and a monthly pass is $60. Heck, my cell phone bill isn't even $60. Take a look at Little Caesar's business plan and learn from it (sell a million passes at $5 instead of a few thousand at $20).
