Thanks for posting the great (and detailed) TR! Did you notice that the IFE while you were on the ground stated your trip from SEA-SLC was 6670 miles! And only in 1:24! Re: Baltimore Bound: SEA-SLC-BWI on Delta

I'm flying Alaska next week BWI-PDX-SEA; I chose the PDX connection as it's a new route for me and it was an instant-upgrade fare. BWI is my preferred airport for the D.C. area. All things considered it is a pretty good facility. Nice! I was actually considering doing the opposite of that on my eas...

Baltimore Bound: SEA-SLC-BWI on Delta

Greetings all, I took these flights heading to Baltimore, MD to visit family. I live in Seattle, and visit relatives in the southern Delaware area every summer, normally flying on Southwest or Alaska. This time, to shake things up a bit, I decided to take Delta eastbound, and Alaska home, on a Seatt...

Re: Will DL bulk up SLC to be more like UA at DEN?

Also question is how much does SLC compete against sea for Delta? This is the first thing I thought when I saw the topic. Along with LAX. DEN is an much larger O/D market than SLC. It is also perfectly positioned geographically as a hub in UA's network. For DL, SLC somewhat duplicates SEA and LAX. ...

I agree, why would there be a reason to? Out of SEA, AS codeshares with airlines going to LHR, NRT, HKG, FRA, etc, and out of their other hub airports they'd either have too little demand for additional int'l routes and/or there's too much competition already so they'd get eaten alive. Re: Last airlines to receive new aircraft of a type

The last 737-200 was for Xiamen Airlines in 1988; 757-200 for Shanghai Airlines in 2005, and the 757-300 for CO in 2004.

Re: The “new” Flair Airlines coming Feb 13th

Looks very appropriate for a LCC (which is to say bold), but not in a bad way. It'd be pretty cool if they have different pastel colors on the belly and engines of different planes, not unlike the Braniff "Flying Colors". Overall, I actually like this one, nice job Flair.
