Is 9V-MBL in Star Alliance colors? I’ve been seeing renderings and a model online but no picture of the real thing.

The Heart livery has been around for almost a decade, no? Aside from the pandemic, why the slow repaints?

Egyptair, Ethiopian and TAAG had 9-abreast 777s last I checked. I wonder how ET will shake out running 9 across in the 787 and with the A350 in the fleet.

Two reasons they might not: they are less visible for the flying passengers and people deciding to have FedEx as clients. I can't think of another cargo airline who did a retro scheme so far. So they might not feel it's worth it. Also the word 'federal' has a negative connotation in the USA, Federa...

Does anyone know if DL has or is considering updating their titles? They seem small & dated with the current trend of bold billboard titles. IMO, it would update their look easily similar to what AF has done. Looks sharp. Or at least update the smaller titles on the Airbus ceos and A330 ceos. T...
Jump to postIn my opinion, the A333 is the most elegant looking airliner Airbus has ever produced. It's been awesome to watch this big twin evolve over the years.

I'm thinking the N-numbers with the random last letters may not be the final registration numbers for the used 737-9ERs. Delta recently reserved the entire range of N9xxDZ numbers from 931-963 (with some DQ, DU, and DX substitutions where DZ was unavailable). This seems to indicate not only will th...

For those tracking, 6811 is in paint at CWF, and will lose it's SkyTeam livery. That leaves (I think) 3 aircraft left with it. 2 738s and one 764. I expect 1820 to lose it as well coming up this year, so catch it while you can. How sad, what a stunning livery on a stunning aircraft. Any reason why ...

Many European carriers have made missteps with their liveries in my opinion. Iberia, Finnair, Lufthansa and Aer Lingus are all boring. Maybe because their predecessors were more eye-catching. Ironically, I think Swiss and Austrian's most recent change look nice. Honorable mention goes to KLM, the dr...
Jump to postI'm a fan of Nordwind Airlines' most recent update.
Why all of these crazy registration suffixes for the used 739s? I searched the FAA registry and a good portion of DZ and DU registrations were not assigned. Is this to distinguish the used jets from the factory-built -932s?

SAS released additional livery concepts? Does anyone have a link?

Especially since their A320/A321neo's could almost certainly make EDDF-KIAD, and of course their 747-8's, 787-8's, and Airbus A350-900's would have NO Problem at all making this flight and All of which would seem more "Efficient" Compared to going from an A330-300 to an A340-300. I don't ...

Varig, Swissair and Midwest.
My friend actually gifted me a Varig blanket for my birthday one year. Midwest's original 717 configuration with the 88 seats was beautiful in pictures, I remember the KC Star did an article on the new jets serving San Antonio and Los Angeles.

767-300 was my first widebody flight, so it's sentimental. I've also flown the 78X in J, it was a nice ride and a very smooth touchdown. But, if we're going on aesthetics, my favorite is the A346 (yes, despite my username).

Any chance of the widget making it onto the sharklets of the NEO? IIRC some of the initial renderings included that detail. I know it's currently standard on only A350s.

My list is short.
FLL, PBI and ECP in Florida. I went on a work trip to Miami and had to drive to KPBI to work an event for TSA. I drove by FLL on the way up.
RNO and SFO while vacationing in California. I flew into and out of SJC but my uncle and I road tripped all around.
