Yesterday my KBOS-KIAH UA flight scheduled for 1730 did not depart until 0030. That's a seven hour delay. I arrived in Houston at 0420. The taxiway that led from the ramp to runway 27 was in truly scary condition. Not a patch of bare pavement to be seen anywhere.

Hey Fly, yeah I moved to Houston in 2010 and the Lincoln was not the best choice for a 35 mile commute in urban traffic.

Guys, I am signing papers right now on a 2014 Civic Si, 3,000 miles. Plenty quick enough for me, with legendary Honda reliability.

Great video, thanks for posting. I was also struck by what appears to be a pretty good hump in the runway the last thousand feet or so.

BTW, an airport wouldn't close for wind. But an aircraft operator might choose not to land at a particular airport due to weather conditions.

Avoid the Aveo. Cheap purchase price but expensive to own in the long run due to poor reliability and high depreciation. Look at the Honda Fit and the Hyundai Elantra. The Elantra is Consumer Reports' highest rated small car.
