There has been rumor of YEG (Edmonton) gaining a new European destination... I wouldn't think Scotland would be it but anything is possible... OF COURSE I have no link or shred of source, just typical banter.

I would LOVE to see Air Canada at Cardiff (CWL) or Bristol (BRS) if it means I get to avoid London or Amsterdam, but it is only a pipe dream.

I thought they had cancelled the St. Johns flight to LHR but it appears that Air Canada will be using the Max on both the St. Johns (3 Weekly) and Halifax (4 weekly) route in the winter.

RE: Hainan Airlines Comes To YYC

It was stated when they opened in GDS that only the full fare C and Y class was made available, I am sure that will change once the airline opens up the lower econo fare options in the near future.

Honestly for full fare, those rates are not that bad.

I was REBOOKED... fly through Calgary on the departing flight and through the US on my return flight...positive is I get to fly on KLM 777 out of YYC. But an 8 hour layover in Amsterdam I guess isn't that bad either.

I have driven many a times from Bridgend/Cardiff area and had it take me close to 5 hours to get to Heathrow due to traffic delays. On a couple of occasions I had come close to missing my flight and other times it was 3 hours without stopping. Granted this is not enough to warrant an international f...
