Unless AA intends on expanding their marketshare at SEA, I just don't see the point of basing any crew at SEA. All the destinations that AA serves nonstop are hubs. Seeing is believing. As I understand it, flight attendants only get paid for the time the aircraft doors are closed to when they open. Is there an advantage to this for the workers? B6 matched AS offer on VX, it just was mainly a stock offer vs cash that AS came with. B6 could try that again but I don’t think their stock is what it was at the time and the offer likely wouldn’t be considered vs all cash.

Along with animals, the VX airbus couldn't haul DG cargo. Both of those are on just about every AS flight between ANC/FAI and SEA. They can't put their code on it because of the merger restrictions, but there is no restrictions on them selling the AA nonstops. They probably chose not to because they want people to buy there own nonstops. They get no benifit form selling the AA flights.... How would you sell a non-stop AA fligh...
