I think most of the busiest airports have runways exclusively for departures and ones exclusively for arrivals. Nope, nobody does. Except for a few flights to Canada it's all domestic at La Guardia. In fact, I think Houston is the furthest destination served from La Guardia. Surprisingly there are no flights from La Guardia to let's say Los Angeles or San Francisco. Denver is probably the longest destination...

I much prefer more frequency to mainline. There is something about flying an RJ that kind of excites me, maybe it's the fewer people on board or the cozy canon. So 4x flights on a CRJ-700 would be better then 1x on a 737.
