Yes, I believe it is exactly a price and slot issue. Slots less so at the height of corona, but JFK is more convenient for domestic flughts for relatively few peole vs LGA, and is much more expensive to fly to for an airline than EWR. Yes, I believe it is exactly a price and slot issue. Slots less so at the height of corona, but JFK is more convenient for domestic flughts for relatively few peole vs LGA, and is much more expensive to fly to for an airline than EWR.

As SFOT said, most bizjets do 28R at E departures. If they need a longer section, it’s not unlikely they would get the 1s. The reason to do 28R (at Echo) is to minimize runway crossing and disruption and just get them out of there.

EYW will be tight with the A319. I assume that's what they're flying. I know Delta uses the 73G, but I'm sure it's weight restricted (especially to BNA) and Im under the maybe false impression that the 73G has better short field performance.

Google earth offers a feature where you can see imaging from many different times. I use that a lot. Most airports have imagery that's been updated since the pandemic, so many major airports can be seen with planes stored.

Apparently, the asphalt will also last a lot longer if they do it all in one go so it's pretty cost effective. Afaik, all commercial flights have been stopped anyways from HPN, and every time I've flown there recently (I'm based out of HPN) there have been almost no other small planes.

Interestingly enough, this looks like it’s going to make the 77W from NRT sit on the ground for 21+ hours at LAX. Also, including direct one stop no change if plane services, this makes SFO 31 flights per week. That’s insane.

I know many people from Westchester that have also used Norwegian from SWF, and it’s very convenient for people in Mt. Kisco, Edgemont, even White Plains and Scarsdale. SWF takes less time to get to than JFK or EWR, and I’ve heard nothing but praise.
