With B6 further drawdown of LGB ops, the City has reallocated the additional vacated 7 slots. Southwest was awarded 3, Delta 3 and Hawaiian Air 1. Due Convid-19 situation, the airport is waiving slot usage requirements till October 24, 2020. I think the city should waive the slot usage requirements...

they didn't add ATL when they we granted 3 slots from the number that B6 sent back. they chose LAS. I dont see them adding ATL with a supplemental slot.

They could have when the slots were available. They still can apply for some of the 25 commuter slots available. (CRJ7 or lighter).

Guessing they don't think they can make money.

As an Orange County resident, and DL flier I am rooting for 2x ATL at least. I would love to fly out of LGB more. I think DL will be wary of competing too much with its LAX-ATL and SNA-ATL (4X 757) services. ONT-ATL isn't even 2x daily x7. I agree. It is more a wish and a prayer than anything else....

Didn't LAWA masterfully eliminate the gate cap when they eliminated the project to move 6L/24R north? Something about more gates in the CTA area if they remove the west remote gates.. Can't look it up right now.

These additions do nothing as previous posters have said to eliminate the traffic in the loop of traffic into the main terminal area, nor does it address the connecting the terminals post security.
