Tonight is the first evening that Delta will be bringing scheduled 737-900 service to ROC. From what I see, it will operate in as DL1111 Mon-Thurs nights for the next 3 weeks, then operate back out as DL2129 the following mornings.

Flew in on DL1111 last night and was pleasantly surprised to have caught a ride on one of the SkyTeam 737-800’s up to ROC. I couldn’t get a lot of good pictures- it was raining and we didn’t land in ROC until after 1am, but it should be a frequent visitor up here for the summer.

Supposedly it’s going to start at the end of RWY 4 and extend about 2,000 feet inward. Also worth noting that the B2 jetbridge replacement is complete, and Delta has actually switched one of their primary gates from B1 to B7, leaving B1 as an overflow gate along with B4. Re: Upstate New York Thread - 2019

The only route I could potentially see being added would be BUF-RDU 1X daily on a -200, and even that would be a huuuuge stretch. I’d say that so far B6 and AA are both still running solid operations on their own for BOS from ROC, but I still believe that DL will get in the mix sooner or later, espe...

Looking good. On the service side I wouldn't be surprised if AA moved one of their 2 BOS-ROC flights to ITH. Two things, 1st AE operates 3 daily BOS-ROC flights. 2nd I find it highly unlikely that AA will start a new regional route out of BOS, as they have only been reducing regional flying out of ...

Some LF from Jan/Feb. I have question about some of these numbers since all of them show more than 150 passengers per flight by a good margin. Sometimes, JetBlue does overestimate capacity on A320s. Looks to be the same for BUF based on bookings. Same for ALB normally as well. Southwest is increasing ROC-BWI from 3x to 4x in August. Wow. If that sticks, BWI then is on course to seriously compete with ORD as the top route N/S from ROC.
