Was watching some flight activity on Flightradar24 and noticed a 757 from Denver to Memphis taking an interesting route to Memphis. No other flights headed to that part of country are following such a plan.

What do they remove aircraft? Is it a security thing? Looks awkward...I don’t like it.Jump to post
I’ve always noticed and wondered this myself.Jump to post
City Approves Amendment Granting United 24 New Gates.
SW is probably very unamused.

2019 was a great year for Frontier! Looking forward to 2020! A Few of F9’s 2019 Highlights: F9 Celebrated their 25th Anniversary F9 introduced the “Kids Fly Free” Program F9 received 18 new planes (all 320neos) F9 ordered 18 A321XLRs and increased a321neo order F9 expanded into NYC with 15 routes fr...Jump to post
Must be nice to bash of F9 so much. God forbid they provide cheap travel options to millions of people who otherwise might struggle to fund a trip because airfare. Just cause you or your company flies you on Delta - doesn't mean the rest of us have that luxury. LET THEM BE. F9 isn't bashed for low ...Jump to post
Really wish they came back to SJO. MIA would've been good to them. B6/WN/NK/AA are killing the market at the moment. Their fares have been going higher and higher. Even NK as a ULCC, it's now well over $300 to fly to FLL from SJO round trip, it used to be less than $150. Bring the $39 here, I don't...Jump to post

I was on a flight from TPA to LGA on Thursday and I had ForeFlight going and it was the first time I had ever seen flying the flight path and then diverting off directly north, then back to the fix. We’d reach the fix, fly the flight path for a while, divert north, come back to the next fix and so ...Jump to post
Would love to see F9 add ANC, FAI and MROC back. Maybe YVR or BIL too. MLB would also be a great add. Expecting Hawaiian destinations in 2024 with the XLR too. They added BIL back earlier this year. It was announced at the same time as BTV, BOS, GRB, and BFM, and has been running 3x week on an A320...Jump to post
Very exciting news! So many Frontier haters here.
If it fails it fails, but from my understanding F9 has been doing quite well recently.
It's a lot more complicated than just gcmap ranges. Getting a nat track with .80 assigned for example burns more fuel. International derived alternates, weather, loads, runway analysis. All that stuff pilots are paid for, but A.net fanboy's know nothing about. I am not pretending that it isn't more...Jump to post
Can’t wait to see F9 take on Hawaii from Denver. With UA’s fares being rather pricey, and SW’s routing requiring a west coast connection...they could make it work.
***Could also see them filling the gap between Hawaii and the Midwest (AUS, STL, MCI, MKE). Thoughts?
Triple connecting on a transatlantic ULCC? Inhumane. Very inhuman. But in a society where so many people (many without the money needed to do so i.e. us lovely millennials) want to travel to far off distances for cheap...this could be big. Think families willing to save a couple hundred dollars to ...Jump to post
I know this is being discussed on the Paris Air Show pages but thought I’d mention it here as well (sorry if this is frowned upon). Crazy that Indigo Partners has altered and added to a previous order to bring on 50 A321XLR starting in 2023. With 18 of them slated to go to Frontier. What in the worl...Jump to post
Where are you getting 150 flights? They aren’t even in the top 10. Source: https://www.swamedia.com/pages/corporate-fact-sheet#top10 That is only the operating bases (i.e, "hub" and where they have a crew base, maybe someone could explain it better?) BNA is around 135-140 flights last I h...Jump to post
Am I crazy for wishing it was out of IAD? I’ve had 4 noteworthy delays/cancellations trying to get to Newark this winter and spring alone. Weather really knows how to slow down good ol’ EWR....not something anyone would want to deal with or worry about prior to a 16 hour flight to the southern tip ...Jump to post

They'd be going head to head with G4 on those two routes. F9 may have a leg up though if the fares are competitive and the flights are to MCO versus SFB. If you fly from here, you would know that Allegiant gets some healthy fares compared to other markets on those routes at times. Those would even ...Jump to post
Is it true that UA is going to use the high number regional gates in A this summer in addition to the CUTE gates in A and C? I noticed the signs in the trains have been updated to list UA in all three concourses. So crazy when you think about how big of an operation that will be! UAX will operate o...Jump to post
