Re: Emirates Flight Attendant Jumps From Aircraft in Apparent Suicide Attempt

They shouldn't have operated the flight out of respect for the crew member. Can't imagine how the crew felt operating the flight back. Do you think, that this would have pleased the passengers, or helped the airline's operation at all? With great sympathy for all involved. No. But under exceptional...

Re: Emirates to add 4th daily flight to SYD from 25th March 2018

Some will cheer this but not me, because I am concerned about EK becoming too big and thus dominating their markets. Such control of market share rarely ends well for consumers or competitors. No one mentions SQ with 5x daily or CX with 4x daily, but as soon as anyone says 'ME3'... Neither SQ or CX...

Re: NYC-YVR load factor question

Just a quick question. I'm on Flightradar right now and I noticed both the AC and CX flights from NYC to YVR have complete different flight paths. AC 549 EWR-YVR operated by the 787-9 is flying over Canadian airspace and seems to have a much shorter flight time compared to CX 889 JFK-YVR which is fl...

Re: Air Canada new livery?

Yet none of these last few posts or the ones upthread contain details of the new livery for certain. It's all just speculation, so maybe you should all wait a little longer and see first... Oh I'm no fool to think that the image portrayal is the actual AC livery. I'm just expressing my opinion on t...

Re: Air Canada new livery?

I found this website that posts a proposal. I really like the proposed livery, even if eurowhite, it looks really classy. http://flaviomcarvalho.com/projects/air-canada-livery Very nice! Clean and smart. Totally agree... this is evolution with a bit of revolution. Heritage with edge! http://flaviom...

Re: Air Canada new livery?

I get the feeling this is going to be a disappointment. There's nothing wrong with the existing livery. It still looks very current. Let's see though... I totally concur. AC's current livery is fresh, clean, crisp, and...relevant. No update is necessary at this time. I agree with you both. I think ...

Re: Emirates to offer Economy class passengers lounge access at DXB for a fee

Any Emirates Economy class passenger [no Skywards membership/status necessary] can access Business lounge for $100 (or) First lounge for $200. As per the email I received from Emirates, along with the information on their website, the paid lounge access will only be available for Emirates Skywards ...

Re: Help with adding a photo to a post.

It will need to be a photo that is hosted online. For now, direct from your harddrive to the forum is not possible unfortunately. Hi there. Would you recommend any sites where I could upload photos online, so I could add my pictures to a trip report on the airliners.net website? :) If I were to upl...

Re: Is the Air Canada livery ageless?

Whatever AC ever has it will include the maple leaf. That is to Air Canada what the blue globe was to Pan Am, or the Red Kangaroo is to Qantas. Personally, I think AC's livery is in fact ageless; it is modern and clean to me. And you know when you see the maple leaf it is Air Canada. 100% completel...
